Simply Suited was created by Margaret O’Reilly after she studied Hospitality Business at Michigan State University, and 10 years in the event planning world. Through those times she always had a desire to create her own company. It was built on a passion for events and helping clients navigate the details and logistics that come with planning events. Margaret’s willingness to fight for the client in order to give them the best experience is the foundation of the company. Her specific ideas and high expectations are what led to the start of Simply Suited. With the mix of innovative solutions ensures that every detail is covered. A Childhood Dream Realized
Ever since I was a wide-eyed dreamer, I harbored a fascination for the magic of weddings. Strangely enough, it was Jennifer Lopez in "The Wedding Planner" who first sparked my curiosity. Fast forward to my college years, where fate led me to a job at the Michigan State University Alumni Chapel. It was there, under the mentorship of my boss, Steve, that I discovered my innate talent for coordination and orchestration. His encouraging words during my early days stuck with me, shaping my path in the enchanting world of weddings.
A Family Legacy
My journey wasn't just inspired by Hollywood; it was rooted in family values. My dad encouraged me to look into event planning during my high school years. Little did I know that this would lead me to one of the country's top hospitality schools, Michigan State University. My family's unwavering support and belief in my natural talents further fueled my passion for this extraordinary industry.
A Turning Point
In 2021, life threw me a curveball. A health setback forced me to pause, reflect, and reevaluate the direction of Simply Suited Planning. It was during this time of introspection that I rediscovered my purpose. A dinner with a friend planning her wedding reignited my spark. Four hours of laughter, strategy, and genuine connection made me realize the joy I found in bringing peace to others through meticulous planning.
A Social Butterfly with a Servant Mindset
When I'm not orchestrating dream weddings, you'll find me spreading my wings as a social butterfly. Exploring new restaurants, traveling to different destinations, and volunteering in my community are among my favorite pastimes. I thrive on connecting with people, fueled by a natural curiosity about the world and a genuine desire to help others.
